The reguirements of this project was to build a temporary wall to serve as a divider between a construction site and a public access area. As such the reqirement was to ensure that the right materials and proper fire rating was achieved.

This wall assembly called for 25 GA steel studs spaced at 16' oc. Fire rating is 2 hours with a double layer of type X drywall on both sides. The door fire rating for this configuration was 90 minutes.
